Setting My Eat Like A Bear Goal
Community-wide, we're each setting goals for the next six weeks, ending give or take in about six weeks (depending on when you find this and set it), but we'll make it a nice round number community-wide ending on November 26, 2022 at 8:27 am Pacific. ๐ ๐ ๐
I've got the whole long version in the video below, but effective goals have these elements:
It is short.
It is specific.
It is measurable.
Weight loss goal examples:
I will weigh 193 pounds by November 26, 2022 at 8:27 am Pacific.
My waist will measure 40 inches by November 19, 2022 at 8:27 am Pacific.
Household goal examples:
I will declutter and clean six rooms in my house by November 26, 2022 at 8:27 am Pacific.

Write your goal down.ย
Reread your goal every day.ย
Carry your most important goal with you
Place your goal strategically in your life -- on your refrigerator, in your car.ย
Check in with the community
Boot Campers will not miss check-in opportunities (and, in fact, more goal tools), however, EVERYONE should check in with us and with people in your own lives. You will probably find me weekly or so asking how it's going. Check in.ย
Do you need to join Bear Boot Camp?
To lose weight, you had everything you needed to succeed before you even found Eat Like a Bear.
However, if you would like more support and a deep-dive into the tools that have helped me maintain my weight for four years through major life events, then you should most definitely jump into Bear Boot Camp.
Bear Boot Camp costs less than a tank of gas here in California. Many of us are foregoing travel anyway. Stay home and get it done and get that extra support in Bear Boot Camp.

My big goal is to lose 90 pounds.
Beginning diet day (September 25) small goal is to lose 10 pounds in two weeks
9.5 pounds lost
Six Week (Beginning October 15 - Ending November 26) Eat Like A Bear goals are:
Lose a total of 30 pounds
Lose at minimum one size in pants
Walk daily
Lift weights daily
Eat healthy
22.3 pounds lost
December Eat Like A Bear Goal
Dates: December 1-December 31ย
Get back into OMAD routine
Lose 22.2 pounds to make a 45 pound weight loss total
Comfortably wear the next size down of jeans bought and not able to get over butt...yet
Walk/jog/aerobicize daily
Watch carbs
Eat healthy...salads and fresh meals, vs. packaged low carb snacks
Read daily and find something to laugh at
